After falling in love with the first generation of PB & Cray, I decided to build an entire lineup around this cultivar and take it to the second generation. The F1 was released in 2022, and everything since then has been refined quietly behind the scenes with long-term selection in mind.

This cultivar has proven to be an exceptional breeding partner and a dependable standalone. It pairs well with a wide range of genetics while maintaining its core structure, resin production, and effect profile.

A huge amount of credit goes to Nate at The Bakery Genetics for creating the Peanut Butter Breath Bx3 used in this cross. That foundation shows up clearly in the consistency and reliability of this line.

Growth & Structure

PB & Cray F2 is very easy to grow and forgiving across environments. Plants show strong vigor, medium to tall stature, and solid branching. Recovery from stress is fast, making this line suitable for both experienced growers and those still dialing in their environment.

Resin & Visual Expression

Flowers are heavily frosted and often completely iced out with deep coloration. Many plants will fully black out during senescence, creating striking visual contrast late in flower. Resin coverage is consistent across phenotypes.

This remains one of my favorite cultivars to grow because it performs reliably and looks exceptional doing it.

Terpene expression leans heavy and classic. Gas, hash, and OG pine dominate, layered with menthol, skunk, musk, and earthy undertones. The profile is loud, grounded, and persistent without leaning into novelty.
