Cultivar Background & Development

Violet Beauregard V2 is a refined evolution of the original Violet Beauregard line. Version 1 was built using Joint’s Blueberry crossed with Peanut Butter Breath Bx3 from The Bakery Genetics. While that version produced excellent results, I wanted to revisit the foundation and tighten the expression further.

For Version 2, the lineage was adjusted to Blueberry OG, the direct father of my Joint’s Blueberry, crossed with PB & Cray. This change preserved the blueberry-forward character while improving consistency, structure, and overall ease of cultivation.

Growth & Structure

Plants show strong vigor with medium to tall stature and reliable branching. This line is very forgiving and easy to grow, making it suitable for a wide range of environments and experience levels.

Flavor & Terpene Expression

Terpenes lean into a rich, dessert-adjacent profile. Blueberry leads, backed by nutty and buttery notes, with musky gas, skunk, OG pine, and menthol adding depth. Flavor carries cleanly through cure.
